Ava (Inwa) & Mingun on the Ayeyarwaddy River

Day Excursion from Mandalay 

Depart Mandalay on a private boat for a journey on the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sites of Mingun include the 90-ton Mingun Bell, Myatheindan Paya and the unfinished Mingun Pagoda. Returning by boat to Ava, an ancient capital of Myanmar, we travel by pony cart around Ava to Nanmyin Watch Tower, Bagaya Wooden Monastery, Maha Aungmye Bonzan and a visit to the workshop making alms bowls. We will have a picnic lunch aboard the boat
