Mawlamyine (Moulmein) and Thanbyuzayat

Remembrance of the Past 3 Days 2 Nights

Day 1:  Yangon – Mawlamyine. Depart early morning for ten hours drive to Mawlamyine. Lunch at Thaton town, Thanlwin River crossing by car ferry at Mataban village. Overnight in Mawlamyine.

Day 2:  Mawlamyine – Thanbyuzayat. Two hour morning drive to the cemetery for the Commonwealth and Allied servicemen of World War II. Japanese soldiers who fell in World War II. Lunch at Setse Beach and a visit to Mudon’s hand weaving workshops. Return to Mawlamyine for overnight.

Day 3:  Mawlamyine – Yangon. After breakfast return to Yangon by car. Stopping for lunch at Kyaikhto or Bago.
