Monywa

Day Excursion from Mandalay

Depart Mandalay for an early morning three hour drive to Monywa. Board Monywa local ferry to cross the Chindwin River. Continue by road to Shwe Ba Hill and Po Win Taung Caves. Return to Monywa for town tour. On the return journey to Mandalay we visit the Thanboddhay Paya, Bodhi Tahtaung , Po Khaung Taung, Aung Sakkya  Pagoda and view the 300ft. long Reclining Buddha.
