Optional Tour from Mandalay

Day 1:  Mandalay – Monywa. Depart Mandalay early morning for three hour drive to Monywa. Board local ferry to cross Chindwin River. Drive to Shwe Ba Hill and Po Win Taung Caves. Drive to Kyaukka lacquerware village and Shweguni Pagoda, Ledi Kyaung Monastery. Overnight in Monywa.

Day 2:  Monywa – Mandalay. Monywa town tour, Thanboddhay Paya, Bodhi Tahtaung, Po Khaung Taung, Aung Sakkya Pagoda and view of 300 ft long Reclining Buddha. Return to Mandalay.
