Day 1:  Bagan – Mt. Popa. Depart Bagan early morning drive stopping at Minnanthu Village and the palm tree plantations producing jaggery (palm sugar candy). Transfer to the Popa Mountain Resort. Climb up to Mt. Popa 1520 m high summit. Climb down and visit the Mahagiri Nat Shrine. Afternoon walk through the forests and fields to study the trees, flowers and plants of this region. Sunset on the verandah of the Hotel. Overnight in Mt. Popa.
