Twante Pottery Village & the Yangon River Delta. 

Day Excursion from Yangon

Depart Yangon for an early morning journey taking 2-3 hours by a local ferry along the Yangon River to Twante, giving a chance to view life and countryside of the delta region. We visit the Oh-Bo pottery sheds producing famous Twante pottery, Shwesandaw Pagoda, weavers making traditional Myanmar textiles, Snake Temple with petrified monk and Baungdawgyoke Pagoda. We return to Yangon by road.
