Chaweng Beach Most popular
and busiest beach of the island. Clean whites sand, dive shops,
restaurants, legendary nightlife. Beach-front hotels are
amongst the favourites of holiday makers. Abundance of good
restaurants and eateries make Chaweng beach worth a visit for those
who have chosen to stay in other areas.

Lamai Beach hotels |
Lamai Beach South of Chaweng and somewhat quieter with good eating, bars, dive shops and
beach-front hotels lies the beach of Lamai. Preferred by those seeking just a little
solitude. Local rock formations Hinta and Hinyai are close by and
feature on many postcards. Entertainment also abundant but less so than in Chaweng.
|
Nathorn
Is the main town of the island and a major transit point for boat arrivals.
Shopping from handicrafts to hammocks and post offices, banks, telephone services and the
island's main hospital can be located here.
