Thaifocus do not require credit card information at the time you make your reservation (unless it is made within 5 days of arrival).  We will send confirmation and a price quotation for the booking

You then only need to confirm acceptance by sending your credit card details at a later date which is specified in our confirmation note.

These safeguards have ensure that the thousands-upon-thousands of Thaifocus customers have not reported one single fraudulent misuse of their credit card as a result of transactions made via our website.

Safe Shop Pledge and Guarantee

In the unlikely event of unauthorized use of your credit card, first follow the reporting procedures specified by your credit card provider. If you are not sure how to contact them call up the bank of the local card issuer.  If you have made a recent purchase with Thaifocus please contact us immediately.

Most credit card companies cover all charges that result from unauthorized use of your credit card. You may be liable for the first US$50 - which is the maximum liability allowed under the US's Fair Credit Billing Act. If your credit card company does hold you liable for unauthorized charges made as a result of your credit card purchase from Thaifocus, we will reimburse you for up to the maximum liability -- US$50.

Payment Details:

When payment is due, usually 5 days prior to your arrival at the hotel arrangements for payment should be made by one of the following methods;

Inter-bank Transfer

Credit Card

International Bank Draft

Booking Conditions We will state clearly what is included in your booking. Note that airport transfers and compulsory gala dinners are not included in the price-list and are listed separately in your quotation. Any additional services such as mini-bar, massage or any service not expressly agreed in the price list or by confirmation must be paid to the hotel during your stay. High season or special room (e.g. sea-view) supplements are payable by the customer. If you are joined by additional members at the time of check in then you are liable to the hotels additional fees. (which are always higher than ours) Refunds & Cancellation All cancellations are subject to a minimum of one night's stay. Cancellation policy between hotels vary so, if required, please request this at the time of booking.

Inter-Bank Transfer Please request details. Payment by this method must include US$20 bank fees. Then fax a copy of the transaction documentation to us.

Credit Card Payments You have two choices of how to pay by credit card. Fax a completed form with your signature.  Use the fax form at this link. Use our secure server. We do not accept Diners Club or American Express

International Bank Draft If your booking is more than 45 days in advance you can make payment by international bank draft payable to "Gem Travel". This must be send via registered mail to: Accounting Dept. Gem Travel
