Visiting Ranong

Ranong is south of Chumpol and North of Phuket on the Andaman Sea (Western side) of Thailand. It is very close to the border of Myanmar (Burma). A good spot for diving and arranging island excursions. Ranong has the highest average annual rainfall in Thailand.

More than 60 percent of the province is mountainous and 80 percent forested.
