The former capital of the Mon Kingdom of Northern Thailand offers breathtaking views, culture and cotton weaving. The resplendence of this small city hasn't escaped international recognition. Rambo III was filmed here, using the Wat Pra Wat Tak Pha (footprint temple) as a backdrop. The temples 405 steps afford extensive and far-reaching scenes of the province. Calling at Pasang, noted for Thailand's most beautiful women, displays the cotton weaving skills of this town.
