  • Depart from Bangkok to Chiang Mai by overnight sleeper train

  • Arrive Chiang Mai
  • 08:00 Meet and greet at Chiang Mai by Thaifocus representative for transfer to your hotel
  • 09:30 After freshening up and checking into your hotel the guide will take you on a tour of the city and surrounding craft villages where you will gain insight into the many different skills of local artisans. From paper umbrellas, silk weaving and teak carving.
  • 14:00 Return to hotel, afternoon at leisure
  • 19:00 Cultural dinner with troupes of exotic dancers, tribal exhibitions and sumptuous local food. The former Northern Royalty used this type of occasion to entertain and court high ranking officials and foreign envoys.
  • 22:00 Return to hotel.
